Job Title: Institutional Work Study Student - Classroom Monitor
Campus Location: ASU Beebe
Job Description: SSS/Trio is seeking (2) Institutional Work Study students at 20 hours each per week for the Summer 2024 term. Duties include: Assist our students in checking in and out by utilizing the Student Access student tracker login. During the summer, the UB classes are held in the classroom. The monitors will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring it is always ready for use. Additionally, they will help prepare for the upcoming SSS/Trio workshops and activities scheduled for Fall 2024.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess responsibility, honesty, respectfulness, and discipline. Effective communication skills are a must. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate initiative and establish a positive relationship with incoming peers.
Minimum Salary or Salary Range: $11.00 per hour
Background Check Statement: This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
