Inspector Team Assist

Job Title: Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead) Location: Columbia, TN Job Type: Full-time Job Description: The Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient completion of projects in our automotive manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to travel and flexibility with shifts.
Responsibilities: Support and ensure projects are completed according to work instructions in an efficient manner. Ensure accurate and timely submission of data feeding into I-Charts, Daily Summary, Time Keeping, and Packets produced. Inspect parts as required per work instructions. Ensure inspectors are equipped with appropriate PPE as per work location and job requirements. Verify and ensure correctness of paperwork completion. Accurately input time and inspection/rework information into MIS in a timely manner. Ensure minimum Customer Demand rates are achieved. Communicate job-specific activities/results with customers as required and directed by the supervisor. Support Project Coordinator-related tasks as requested. Train inspectors on proper time/data completion. Requirements: Previous leadership experience is a must. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Knowledge and understanding of all jobs being performed. Comfortable in a factory or warehouse setting. Strong organizational and math skills. Good problem-solving ability. Effective written and oral communication skills. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email. Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents related to data recording, including interfacing with both technical and non-technical personnel. Physical ability to stand for extended periods (80% of the time). Flexibility in shifts and willingness to travel within the area.
