We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for an equipment rental company in the Tulsa area ! This individual will not only possess solid sales experience, but will also need to know construction equipment and the overall terminology of the industry.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability in previous positions, as well as going above and beyond tasks they are accountable for. The right individual will have a growth mindset, looking to make their impact in providing exceptional customer service and being a contributing member of the team. Schedule : 7:30a - 5:30p - Saturdays required initially; (5) days worked each week Pay : $22/hr + Commission - (annual expectation is $55K - $60K) Benefits : Full benefits offered once permanent: pay 100% of health care, retirement plan with employer matching, PTO can earn up to (20) day paid vacation days, plus employees get (8) days of off of paid holiday time, we pay for New years day, Memorial Day, labor day, 4th of July, thanksgiving, and pay for the 24th - 26th of December; as well as pay for uniforms and steel toe boots. Responsibilities Recommends equipment purchases to the Manager. Coordinates equipment reservations with counter personnel. Prepares and maintains up-to-date call reports. Prepares and maintains up-to-date sales records. Organizes calls. Prepares all sales aids and sales contests. Recommends replacement of equipment. Maintains a professional image/appearance. Makes cold calls to solicit business. Makes cold stops to solicit business on job sites and offices. Promotes rental concept on sales calls. Encourages order building to clientele. Follow up on sales leads. Assists with overflow from counter personnel and any delivery and pickup of equipment. Instructs customers on equipment operation. Prepares daily and/or monthly outside sales reports. Attends sales, store and safety meetings. Assists when complaints and emergencies arise by investigating and solving the problem. Creates and reviews with Manager the catalog for updates, creates flyers, and prepares and tallies customer service surveys for any special projects and mailings. Consults with Manager on ad design and placement. Report safety violations to supervisor. Network with other industry professionals. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form. Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store. Attend department, store and safety meetings. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications (3+) years of sales industry-related experience required. Must maintain a professional personal appearance. Must possess sales and customer relation skills. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers. Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
