Inside Sales Director
Our client is a rapidly-growing mid-size consumer products organization looking for an accomplished Inside Sales Director with experience leading a team of at least 20 Inside Sales Representatives. This position has the opportunity to work remote. Headquarters is based on the West Coast.
Position Responsibilities
• Maximizes sales effectiveness by providing leadership to the inside sales team to ensure productivity targets are met and or exceeded
• Responsible for training and mentoring team
• Experience in customer relationship management software, such as Netsuite or a similar CRM
• Experience with managing customer databases and assignments
• Set and track sales targets for your team
• Establish and monitor margin and quality control
• Develop systems to support sales growth
• Assist with developing and growing accounts
• Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
• Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
• Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
• Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
• Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
• Build an open-communication environment for your team
• Manage Lead Generation process and effectiveness
• Dedication to providing excellent customer service
• Technology proficient/savvy
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of our sales framework, market and customer needs
• Multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through
• Evaluates market conditions and adjusts sales strategy to successfully adapt to those changes. Gathers and evaluates key sales trends and market indicators
You may be a good fit for our team if you have
• Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager/director
• Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
• In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
• BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant experience
• Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
• Dedication to providing excellent customer service
• Technology proficient/savvy
• Ability to manage customer database
• Multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through
• Gift, Wine & Spirits, and Drinkware experience is a plus
