As a Process Engineer, you'll be the maestro orchestrating the implementation of Plastic Extrusion and Plastic Molding manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants from conception to full operation. Dive into the thrilling world of experimentation and innovation as you develop and refine manufacturing procedures, processes, and part designs.
What you will do: Crafting: Utilize your scientific prowess to develop mold processes that achieve optimum efficiency without compromising quality or productivity.
Innovation: Develop and implement cutting-edge procedures to uncover the perfect process parameters, ensuring reliability from setup to production.
Establish manufacturing process parameters using both traditional and innovative techniques, ensuring stability and repeatability.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and quality personnel, ensuring molds are maintained, repaired, and cleaned to perfection.
Customer Connection: Forge strong relationships with our clients by delivering impeccable results and innovative solutions to production challenges.
Pioneering Solutions: Recommend designs for special equipment and lead the charge in product and process research and development.
Master the maintenance and operation of specialized equipment, from robots to hot runner systems.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate plastic processing equipment for productivity, quality enhancement, and cost reduction, staying ahead of the curve.
Stay updated on the latest methods, systems, and equipment to continuously enhance quality and productivity.
Maintain meticulous records of samples, processes, and production details, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Collaborate with various departments to support new business development, engineering, and operations, lending your expertise to design and development endeavors.
What you will need: Engineering: Possess a four-year degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a penchant for Plastics Engineering.
Five years of experience in manufacturing processes, design engineering, automation, and project management, with a knack for innovative design solutions.
Injection Molding: Extensive understanding modern injection molding techniques and processes.
Analytical: Familiarity with scientific analysis methods such as DOE, SPC, Mold Flow analysis, and FMEA.
Problem-Solving: Employ a systematic approach to problem-solving, fueled by unwavering motivation and a sense of urgency.
Tech: Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks, with a hunger for mastering new technologies.
Possession of a master mold certificate is a definite plus.
Organizational: Demonstrate exceptional organizational and planning capabilities, coupled with unparalleled problem-solving skills.
