As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.

Job responsibilities

Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applicationsResolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation pathExecutes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problemsDrives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applicationsPartners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statusesConsiders upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implicationsMakes significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applicationsAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines and 3+ years applied experienceStrong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessmentsHands on experience with Windows Operating Systems and InfrastructureStrong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, etc.)Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private cloudsExperience in building out observability to continuously understand the health of systems, using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Cloud watch and Splunk.Ability to analyzing complex systems - failure analysis / root cause analysis, developing, improving, and maintaining technical engineering documentation.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) conceptsExperience with Authentication and Authorization tools and productsExperience managing application CertificatesExposure to cloud technologies
