We are seeking an Industry Director to lead a team within the Tech, Gaming, and Telco verticals of our Large Customer Sales org. Working with agencies and brands, your relationships, leadership experience, and digital media expertise make you a key pillar of Reddit's business strategy and a world-class partner to leading brands. You will oversee a team of Industry Managers.This is one role that is required to be based in person from either San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City.Responsibilities:Leadership & Talent DevelopmentActively coach, develop, and lead a team of Industry ManagersManage a high-performing team by recruiting and retaining top talent, while balancing resources efficientlyKeep a pulse on key industry trends and insights and leverage your deep vertical knowledge to further the development of your teamProvide thought leadership and guidance around account planning to your team Cross-functional PartnershipsRepresent the interests of Tech, Gaming, and Telco internally by promoting sales narratives and initiatives that align with client needsCollaborate with XFN sales and marketing teams like Enablement, Measurement, Insights, and Creative Strategy to advocate for the needs of your team and their clients and identify creative solutionsPartner with XFN teams like Business Development to elevate the Reddit/Client partnership across all company touch-points, including but not limited to advertisingPartner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and new advertiser acquisitionPartner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic planClient Relationship ManagementGenerate revenue growth by expanding partnerships with some of the world's largest brandsNavigate large partnerships that include multiple lines of business, brands, and prioritiesAct as an advocate for Reddit and your team by cultivating key C-level client and agency relationshipsBusiness StrategyCraft and execute a strategy that will enable your team to exceed revenue targets for their book of businessAdvise sales leadership and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planningDevelop a deep understanding of Reddit's advertising platform to unlock enhancements and revenue potentialRequired Qualifications: 15+ years experience in digital media sales and/or marketing8-10+ years of people management experience within salesExpert in digital media with an emphasis on paid socialGenuine passion for mentoring others with a track record of successfully fostering career growth for those on your teamExperience navigating complex organizations and engaging with Tech, Gaming, and Telco executive-level client stakeholdersExperience thinking and acting globally to unlock revenue for Reddit in the US and all major marketsExperience with direct advertiser sales including negotiations and management of strategic partnershipsExcellent communication skills and executive presenceStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityStrategic thinker who can connect the dots between market trends, client needs, and unique platform capabilities to identify lucrative business opportunitiesAn action-oriented leader who can break down a complex strategy into an actionable plan that will allow your team to execute successfullyExperience with both brand and direct-response marketing objectivesPrior startup or high-growth experience preferred, builders wanted!Benefits:Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits401k MatchingWorkspace benefits for your home officePersonal & Professional development fundsFamily Planning SupportFlexible Vacation (please use them!) & Reddit Global Wellness Days4+ months paid Parental LeavePaid Volunteer time off#LI-JS1 #LI-onsite
