Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!Essential Job Functions:Inspect, repair and maintain the continuous cookers.Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective machinery.Repair equipment as needed.Operate machinery and tools in a safe manner.Maitain accurate records of work performed and meter readings as needed.Design, fabricate, weld and install equipment as required.Oversee equipment operation as well as order supplies for department.Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned work.Assist in training junior mechanics.Other duties as required or assigned by Management.Qualifications:Knowledge of hand and power tools, including welders and torch cutters.Mechanical repair and equipment maintenance knowledge.Attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints, and manuals.Must have the ability to effectively communicate with management and fellow employees.Must have the ability to effectively understand proper documentation and handling of paperwork involved with departmental operations.Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions.Job requires extensive walking, climbing, and some crawling.Ability to work scheduled hours as necessary.
