Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Essential Functions: Supervise and coordinate maintenance employees' activities. Direct and lead maintenance skill activities. Ensure adherence to safety rules and SOPs. Assign projects to maintenance staff. Assist technicians with maintenance tasks using hand tools and equipment. Examine work progress, equipment, and machinery. Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspect systems for preventative maintenance needs. Enforce company rules consistently and fairly. Maintain and repair maintenance shop equipment. Monitor spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories. Follow up on safety and regular work orders. Maintain interdepartmental communication. Report time and attendance infractions to HR. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety requirements. Ensure food safety and quality. Develop subordinates' abilities through training in various areas. Perform other assigned duties. Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Competencies: Ability to troubleshoot 3-phase AC motors and drives. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and machine drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Project management and delegation abilities. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Alignment with company mission, vision, and values. Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor. Strong knowledge of building trades and maintenance. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Budgeting and performance management skills. Organizational and leadership abilities. Attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in email, MS Office, and related tools. Time management skills. Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations. Experience in welding, Arc Flash, PLC, and Hot Works. Regular and reliable attendance.
