Import/Export Compliance Specialist Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive export compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with international trade laws. Conduct thorough audits and risk assessments to uphold compliance standards. Obtain and manage export licenses and agreements, liaising with U.S. and international regulatory bodies. Build and maintain strong relationships with foreign trade offices and partners, facilitating smooth and compliant cross-border transactions. Stay abreast of changes in export regulations, adapting compliance strategies accordingly. Document and maintain accurate records of export transactions and compliance activities. Import/Export Compliance Specialist Qualifications : Deep knowledge of U.S. and international export regulations (EAR, ITAR, DGR, etc.). Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with foreign trade offices and regulatory agencies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulations in understandable terms. Proficient in compliance software and office applications. Import/Export Compliance Specialist Education and Other Requirements: Extensive experience (3-5+ years) in export compliance, with a preference for candidates with international liaison experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
