Identity Services Specialist

Summary: The Identity Services Specialist independently performs day to day operation of identity and directory services technologies in support of enterprise identity, authentication, and authorization services (such as Microsoft AD, Identity Federation, PKI, MFA). These operational activities include monitoring ticket queues and responding to incident tickets received from the service desk as well as processing change requests and resolving technology issues.
Day to day support activities could include: Setting up users with Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) Troubleshooting access to Password Management application Account issues vary from restoring accounts, fixing issues with Single Sign On (SSO) Troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services Troubleshooting Active Directory Federation Services Troubleshooting Active Directory Certificate Services Supports team efforts to implement ongoing improvements to identity and authentication capabilities and infrastructure configurations Supports business and technology initiatives which require assistance from the identity services team Maintain familiarity with security standards and ensure that technologies are implemented in support of those standards; Communicate any identified gaps to peers and management in a timely manner Stay abreast of changes in the threat landscape by following industry experts, publications, newsfeeds, and threat intelligence sources; Identify ways for the business to incorporate this information into ongoing security practices Consistently communicates and works effectively as a team both within security infrastructure services and across other groups to successfully accomplish goals and objectives Maintains clear concise and accurate documentation for processes and configurations Required Skills : * Experience working with PowerShell framework/scripting * Working familiarity with operating systems, application development, directory services * Solid verbal and written communication skills * Interpersonal skills * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to coordinate activities with team members and other stakeholders * Must have a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude * Ability to work independently or on a team * Ability to multitask and change priorities with effective results
