Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life forall.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.As the Idaho US Expansion(ID1)Onboarding Specialist, you will provide site support for training and development programs, systems, compliance, and strategy.Your responsibilities will include project management support, the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of onboarding content and programs.As a part of the Workforce Development team(WFD), you may alsofacilitatecompanytraining,maintaintraining records, materials, and forms, teach classes and workshops as needed, andassistinpresentingmaterial for different initiatives.Additionally, the Onboarding Specialistfacilitatesdepartment orientations andfabbootcamp to prepare new team members for trainingand improve initial time to productivity.You can expect to process training requests, conduct needs analyses, and resolve alignment with the organization's business needs.Position will require relocation to Boise as this role will be integral to the successes of our Boise, Idaho expansion efforts. Relocation assistance available.Responsibilities and TasksDeliver engaging onboarding material to small and largegroupsDemonstrates understanding of groupdynamicsUses audiovisuals effectively in the delivery ofclassesHandles unexpected events in the classroom and learningenvironmentActs as an expert on all software applications used daily in the TrainingenvironmentActs as an onboarding resource for multiple applications relevant to the Training GroupDevelop and Design SolutionsEstablishes effective learningobjectivesfor course material, ensures tie-in across related outcomes (assessments, certifications, etc.)Selects, adapts, and creates designs appropriate for the project, ensures alignment with companyinitiativesUses basic concepts to design visual aids for display, projection, orhandlingAnalyzes collected data for the development of instructionalmaterialsTroubleshoots problems, finding performance improvement opportunities and develops understanding of employee learningneedsSupport Organizational ChangeEffectively supports or manages organizationalchangeUsesacquiredknowledge of the organization's vision, strategy, goals, business issues, and culture to promoteideasPromotes collaboration, partnerships, and teamwork throughout theorganizationEvaluate MethodsFacilitateInitiates andfacilitatesgroup discussions or activities in multiple areas of development, improvement, strategicplanning,and problemsolvingSchedules andfacilitatescross functional team meetings concerning organizational improvements and problemsolvingFacilitates groups in areas such as team development, process improvement, strategic planning, problem solving, etc.Acts as an internal consultantintraining and educationConducts research on a specific subject andfacilitatesthe presentation ofresultsManage ProjectsLeads multifaceted complex projects of critical importance toMicronEngages in global change management processes as the businesschangesApplies project management skills to empower stalledprojectsCoordinate TrainingWorks with assigned team members to coordinate long term training solutions for coursedeliveryPartners with management in developing implementation strategies for the deployment of significant traininginitiativesEducationBachelor'sor equivalent experienceAppropriatePMCertifications/TrainingsRequired Experience3 years of experience in Workforce DevelopmentorSemiconductor/Manufacturing experience.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
