Do you want to transform Israel engagement on one of the most exciting Ivy League campuses in America?  Brown RISD Hillel, a leading Hillel in the global network, is seeking an IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement – an emerging professional with contagious Jewish passion, entrepreneurial energy, and strong leadership and networking skills.  The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will collaborate with the BRH staff to innovate, grow, and experiment with new models of Jewish community building and meaning making, strengthening students' connectivity to the land, people, and state of Israel.The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will manage and bolster the success of Brown RISD Hillel's Israel strategy and engagement model through the following core initiatives:Birthright : The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will be a dynamic self-starter, capable of envisioning and delivering upon a plan to grow the number of students traveling on BRH's Birthright Israel buses as well as providing support and inspiration to Birthright Israel participants before and after their trip . The IACT Coordinator will develop a boutique Birthright experience that reflects student passions and interests. The Coordinator will engage participants in Jewish life once back on campus and enable students to think meaningfully about what role Israel will play in their lives, and what active role they might take in the life of the State of Israel.College Hill Abroad in Israel/ CHAI Fellowship: The IACT Coordinator will be tasked with recruiting a diverse set of Brown and RISD students to apply for the CHAI Fellowship, BRH's platform for undergraduates to pursue independent projects in Israel over the summer. The candidate will inspire students to dream big about what is possible with BRH's network, resources, and support. The IACT Coordinator is committed to offering students deeply meaningful and unique opportunities for professional development and personal growth.Student mentorship and programming: Through relationships with a diverse set of students, the IACT Coordinator will generate ways to elevate student passions and craft experiences that reflect the interests of the student body. The IACT Coordinator will be proactive and strategic about cross-campus collaborations, helping weave BRH into the fabric of the academic ecosystems on College Hill.Qualifications & Educational Requirements:Candidates should have a BA from a residential, 4-year college and 0-2 years of professional work experience. Entrepreneurial energy, a passion for all things Israel, and highly developed logistical skills are keys to success in this position. In addition, the IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement should exhibit creativity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to take initiative, interest in professional growth, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership development skills. The candidate must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments. The candidate should be solutions-oriented.Holistic Benefits Package:Competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace.
