Hybrid Concrete Estimator

Job Title: Concrete Estimator
Location: Detroit, MI
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Dependent on Experience
Requirements: 1+ years experience in construction estimating; vertical/concrete construction is strongly preferred

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Estimator to join our team. 
As an Estimator, you'll work closely with project engineers and project managers in reviewing project requirements and blueprints, creating cost estimates, analyzing data, conducting site walks, and more. Additionally, you'll use your experience with construction estimating software and deep understanding of concrete projects to perform takeoffs and assist with procurement.

What You Will Be Doing Reviewing project blueprints and project requirements Creating cost estimates for labor, materials, time, travel Analyze data and report discrepancies as needed Conduct site visits Work with project management team on RFIs, change orders, bids, etc. What You Need for this Position 1+ years experience in construction estimating, experience with concrete construction is strongly preferred Bachelor's Degree is Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred Experience with construction estimating software (heavybid, accubid, etc.) Proven experience with takeoffs Experience with tilt wall, precast, cast-in, slab projects Benefits Medical Dental/Vision PTO and Holidays Retirement Option Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
