Hvac Technician For Direct Hire

We are seeking a Commercial or Industrial HVAC Technician for direct hire role with a top tier mechanical company in Birmingham, AL

  Pay is $25 -$35/h depending on experience and certification Comprehensive benefits- 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO etc Company Vehicle Potential for Weekly overtime Duties and Responsibilities HVAC Technician Safely performs tasks of the highest complexity within the maintenance, service and repair of cooling systems and their associated components. The technician performs diagnostics, maintenance and service repairs on air- and water-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, rotary screw chillers, large built-up systems, cooling towers as well as complex modifications of associated systems and components. Diagnoses, repairs, replaces, adjusts, and monitors controls on chillers and associated components for various manufacturers, i.e. York, McQuay, Trane, Carrier, etc. Uses various fault detection and diagnostic measurement tools to test and inspect equipment including, but not limited to, air flow, static pressure, fluid flow, refrigerant diagnostics and wet/dry bulb temperature. May repair and service other types of air-conditioners, ranging from split/package units, water source units, etc. Qualifications for HVAC Technician :

 2 or more years of actual commercial/industrial HVAC experience as it relates to chiller systems  Ability and willingness to travel to attend training directly related to increasing job related skills. Ability to support after hour emergencies and planned activities as need. Valid driver license and fairly clean MVR is required Universal EPA or CFC certification is highly prefered. Must be available for some overtime, on-call, and weekend work, especially during spring and summer.
