Responsibilities
• Manage HVAC maintenance and service teams• Schedule, direct, and provide technical support for HVAC technicians• Review technicians' work to ensure quality standards• Organize training and ongoing support for service teams• Recruit, interview, hire, and train HVAC technicians• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements• Maintain efficient department operations• Other tasks and responsibilities as required
Requirements
• 5+ years of successful management experience preferred• 2+ years of training in HVAC or other service industries preferred• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record• Pass a drug and background check• Strong leadership and communication skills• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating preferred• Reliable and self-motivated• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice
