The successful candidate(s) are responsible for demonstrating and maintaining a self-starter attitude, become a self-motivated leader in the field while working as a team and independently. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on all types of HVAC systems which includes cleaning coils, changing filters, replacing fan motor belts and verifying and replacing as needed electrical and mechanical components i.e. worn contactors and weak capacitors. Process preventative maintenance forms which record rated/actual electrical, mechanical functions followed by advising the customer what's next. Produce onsite repair quotes using ESC software. Assist service department team with repairs that often require two techs due to weight, size, location and complexity. Requirements High School Diploma/GED. Valid NC or SC driver's license. Dependable transportation. EPA Universal Certification or obtained within first 90 days of employment. Basic hand tools and tool bag. (The successful candidate will be provided with a tool list that is required to be fulfilled and brought with them on their first day reporting to work) Available to work overtime, weekends, flexible start and leave hours. Ability to work at extended heights greater then 8ft. Wear corrective lens if eye sight alone impairs ability to focus on small details near and or far. Leather safety toe work boots w/proper ankle support and rubber soles. (waterproof recommended) Physical Demands Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. Work outside in all types of weather conditions for extended periods. Walk, stand, stoop or sit for prolong periods of time. Climb stationery, extension and collapsible ladders.
