Senior HVAC Engineer
Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Proficient understanding of Federal, State, and Local codes, with an emphasis on mechanical engineering design as per Department of Energy Orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly review construction documents.
Lead planning, organizing, and coordination of mechanical engineering tasks within multi-disciplinary teams.
Expertise in HVAC design specifically in the nuclear industry, including a deep knowledge of related codes and standards.
Create and evaluate design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Proficient in computer-aided drafting tools.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design, with a preference for nuclear industry experience.
Skills in estimating, specification preparation, and construction document development.
Professional Engineer (PE) License is an asset, but not mandatory.

An individual who demonstrates a blend of technical expertise in HVAC systems, particularly in environments with stringent safety and regulatory requirements like the nuclear sector.
A proactive problem-solver with excellent project management skills.
Adept at working collaboratively with diverse teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.

Compensation: $55.00 - $90.00 per hour
