As a Sheet Metal Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the installing, repairing, and maintaining Commercial HVAC/R systems. Responsibilities include assisting with: Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and Plumbing systems Weld and fabricate sheet metal components Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and Plumbing systems Perform preventative maintenance on equipment Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience: -
Strong mechanical knowledge Experience in field service or a related industry Proficiency in welding and fabrication of sheet metal components Familiarity with air conditioning, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and appliance repair Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Excellent problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in changing climate and weather conditions including the ability to lift heavy equipment is necessary to ensure success in this role.
