Job Description:
Summary: The HV Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and execution of HV construction and operations projects, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform all Project Engineer responsibilities (refer to position description) Review project documents and requirements to ensure compliance with agreements, regulations, and customer/engineer specifications Develop and manage the HV project budget Create subcontractor scopes of work and support subcontracting efforts Manage HV subcontractors, including billings, RFIs, status reports, and risk management Participate in project meetings, coordination meetings, and material procurement reviews Maintain construction schedules, conduct scope reviews, and manage change requests Coordinate PV energization support and final project completion punchlist Demonstrate and promote a safe work environment, adhering to electrical safety protocols Maintain availability for 24/7 operations and travel as required (local and interstate)
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power substation design and/or construction Licensed Professional Engineer, PMP certification, or industry experience preferred Knowledge of NFPA 70e and safety training related to electrical equipment construction and operation Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Proficient in written and verbal communication in English Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks effectively Email me jobs like this
