Responsibilities
• Interpreting regulations, policies, and directives and providing accurate pay setting guidance• Developing and providing policy guidance on compensation programs• Analyzing proposed pay legislation and regulations for impact on agency HR policies• Conducting studies to analyze effectiveness of recruitment and retention processes• Gathering and analyzing salary and occupational data for compensation studies• Classifying positions using standards and determining appropriate job title and grade• Conducting position management reviews and improving organizational structures• Explaining classification standards and decisions to employees and supervisors• Assisting in developing program policies and procedures• Reviewing organizational structures and recommending changes• Developing partnerships and collaborations for Compensation, Recognition, and Wellness programs
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 years of experience• Good general understanding of systems, methods, and administrative machinery• Ability to analyze problems and apply sound judgment• Effective communication skills• Specialized experience in Human Resources compensation, salary analysis, and position classification• Strong mathematical and analytical skills• Proficiency in MS Office products
