We are seeking a Director of Human Resources that will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource department. This role will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture, managing its most valuable asset (its people), and contributing to its overall success. The HR Director will report directly to the company CEO
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain efficient teams to streamline operations
Maintain or create detailed protocols, policies, and procedures.
Adherence to the company's budget and strong financial performance.
Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic goals and initiatives.
Play a key role in shaping the organization's overall strategy by aligning HR policies and practices with the company's goals and objectives.
Responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's workforce needs. This includes developing recruitment strategies, overseeing the hiring process, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Manage employee relations and ensure a positive and productive work environment. Handle disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters, and work to promote a culture of fairness and inclusivity.
Oversee performance appraisal systems and help develop performance improvement plans. Ensure managers provide regular feedback and support employee development.
Responsible for creating and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits packages. Responsible for ensuring compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
Establish and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations.
Promote diversity and inclusion within the organization, implementing strategies to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
Utilize HR data and metrics to make informed decisions, measure HR department performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, including HR managers and specialists, and help develop their skills and capabilities.
Play a critical role, in times of change management, in managing the human side of change and ensuring a smooth transition.
Member needs and work volume may often require more than 45 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and busy times in the Hospital.
Qualification
Bachelors degree
Proven experience in effective team management.
Strong leadership, oversight, and guidance skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals and targets.
Or an equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
