Responsibilities
• Manage and evaluate the work of HR staff• Oversee all HR functions including employee administration, payroll, training, and benefits• Develop and revise HR policies and procedures• Ensure compliance with HR rules, regulations, and laws• Handle confidential matters with professionalism• Supervise and refine employee standards in the HR office• Conduct audits and maintain internal records to ensure compliance• Manage projects and develop new performance indicators• Counsel employees and advise on HR policies and procedures• Oversee classification and compensation, employee relations, and workers' compensation
Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree plus four years of HR experience (or equivalent substitutions)• Experience in managing a comprehensive HR program• Knowledge of HR rules, regulations, and laws• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion• Experience in supervising and evaluating employees• Knowledge of benefits programs and retirement systems• Proficiency in HR information systems
