Since then, Wayside has become an expert in delivering gender-specific and trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment and mental health services for women and their families. 
Wayside Recovery Center provides a holistic array of care including outpatient and residential substance use disorder treatment, recovery support services, adult and children's mental health therapy, long-term supportive housing and family support services.

This position reports to the Human Resource Director who reports to the Chief of Operations. 
This is a part time hybrid position and compensation is $25-$30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. 
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions such as hiring, onboarding, training, process improvements, staff development and payroll. This position partners with and provides administrative support to leadership to achieve culture and program and organizational goals, as defined by the annual and strategic plans. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate recruitment process for a qualified and diverse staff, with supervisors, by providing job description templates, advising on job descriptions and announcements, placing advertisements, prescreening applicants, and facilitating timely onboarding. Supports new hires during the recruitment to onboarding process to create a welcoming experience as they transition into the organization Run background and driving checks on new hires, interns, and contractors. Assist staff with DHS background disqualification reconsideration process. Coordinate with hiring managers/supervisors and Nursing Department on required Mantoux tests for new hires. Responsible for new hire onboarding process, including all forms from the Employee New Hire packet. Responsible for benefit orientation with employees. Coordinate with Director of Training on scheduling onboarding training. Conduct exit interviews and compile data. Prepare and maintain personnel and benefit files. Maintain closed personnel files and send to storage per schedule. Monitor and prepare monthly employee and supervisor notices for annual and 90-day reviews. Follow-up with supervisors on outstanding reviews. Complete requested employment verifications. Provide materials and trainings for staff on employee benefits, organization policies and supervisor responsibilities. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and goal setting / professional development with employees Advise supervisors on personnel issues, including staff performance evaluations and performance problems. Update and maintain the Supervisor Manual Staff resource on HR questions and concerns. Completes terminations of benefits for exiting employees and enrolls them in COBRA Assist in conducting HR audits across all systems Payroll: Send Onboarding paperwork and setup new hires in ADP WFN . Manage Time and Attendance in ADP WFN. Enter employee status changes in ADP WFN for semi-monthly processing. Other Functions: Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information. Role model behavior which is consistent with and supportive to women in recovery from substance use disorder. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of the program and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned . Assist with developing and updating HR policies, processes and documentation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Two years of experience in Human Resources . Knowledge and experience with human resource software, Net study, MVR software, payroll software (ADP WFN a plus) , Microsoft 365 and Recruiting platforms (Jazz HR a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail . Must have a strong knowledge of and understanding of Human Resource concepts and employment laws Excellent work organization skills and detail oriented. Able to multi-task and be flexible in responsibilities. Ability to relate to women of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. Must be able to pass DHS background study and meet applicable requirements and regulations. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to perform desk duties for long periods of time. Able to lift and move paper files. Able to use telephone and computer for long periods. Benefits

Part Time employees earn 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

The following holidays are observed by Wayside and are paid if falls on a scheduled workday: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
