Bath Fitter is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at our Charlotte, NC office . The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible primarily for the recruitment functions of the HR department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to grow in their HR career path!  
The ideal person for this position will have experience with talent acquisition including, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees. Over time, this position will also offer opportunities to learn about other areas of HR including but not limited to employee relations, workers compensation and payroll administration.
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate patience, compassion, excellent listening skills and be able to multitask effectively. This person will also need to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team to promote the recruitment of top talent.
*After satisfactory completion of the training period, this position will shift to a hybrid structure, working in office and some from home.  Salary: Up to $55,000 Annually Responsibilities: Recruitment – Source, screen and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for all open positions. Work closely with all branch managers to understand the needs of their branches and any required job opening. Schedule and coordinate interviews as well as pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Payroll – Assist Human Resources Manager with biweekly payroll processing. Serve as backup payroll processor and answer employee questions regarding PTO balances, paycheck issues, etc. Office Administration – Process Certificates of Insurance on an as needed basis, manage travel arrangements for all personnel, code invoices and send to Accounts Payable in a timely fashion and assist with credit card reconciliation. First Report of Injury - Act as first point of contact for any work related injury, accident or illness. Compile appropriate documentation to initiate a Worker's Compensation case (if applicable). Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Human Resources Coordinator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the Human Resources Coordinator. Education and/or Experience – Bachelor's degree. Some previous HR experience highly desired; 1-3 years' experience as a Research Recruiter. Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend instructions, email correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively articulate correspondences with all levels of staff.      Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required. Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Computer Skills – Knowledge of computer workstations and peripheral equipment; knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Communication Skills –- Be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. of measure. Reasoning Ability/Critical Thinking skills – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instruction.  Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
