We are currently hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team! As an HRBP, you will be a senior professionally on the People Team, working closely with our Director, HR, Chief People Officer and other business leaders to align the People Strategy with Rho's goals. You'll also provide strategic and operational HR support to assigned business units in the area of talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational development.

This position is remote / hybrid in Raleigh/Durham, NC.
Work with business leaders to understand business objectives and challenges in order to develop and implement effective HR solutions. Collaborate with other People Team experts as needed.  Act as a trusted advisor, coaching business leaders and managers on all HR matters, such as employee engagement and retention, workforce and succession planning, career development, diversity and inclusion, and change management.  Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and coaching managers on building relationships to improve retention and performance.  Participate in the design and delivery of HR programs and initiatives that support the business strategy and enhance the employee experience, such as talent acquisition, onboarding, performance appraisal, recognition, rewards, and learning and development.  Be an employee advocate, proactively obtaining employee feedback to identify needs to improve the employee experience. Participate in People Team projects to develop an employee experience that supports employee wellness and professional development.  Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and separations consistent with Rho values, company policies and employment law.  Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and provide relevant insights and recommendations to the business leaders and the People team.  Collaborate with other People functions and stakeholders, such as payroll, benefits, legal, and communications, to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality HR services to the business units.  Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal developments, and ensure the compliance of the HR policies and procedures with the applicable laws and regulations.  Attend in-person meetings as required Exhibit Rho's Core Values at all times Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner Respond to email and other communication requests in a timely fashion using a variety of methods including but not limited to email, instant messaging and other communication tools Ability to maintain confidentiality Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;  Certification in HR or related field, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, is preferred.  Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as an HRBP or generalist.  Strong knowledge of HR functions, processes, practices, regulations and the ability to apply them in various business scenarios.  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization.  Proven ability to think strategically and analytically, and to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.  High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.  A few more things to know about us:
