The Human Resources Analyst will utilize a variety of systems and sources to collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics related to employee compensation, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various components of the Applicant Tracking System and New Employee Onboarding Platform.
Maintains the HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) master file by documenting processes, work performed, and data sources in a clear and concise manner. Works collaboratively with members of the Human Resources, Talent Management, and Learning & Development teams to develop analytical solutions which support cross-functional business needs. Performs data entry in the personnel records management system to include new employee set-up, processing pay and title changes, transfers, terminations, etc. Conducts periodic audits to ensure that jobs and employees are properly classified according to DOL and FLSA standards and makes any necessary updates to system records. Collects data from a variety of sources including the personnel records management software, applicant tracking system, salary surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and competitors' practices to analyze data for trends and patterns. Designs, develops, and delivers both recurring and ad hoc reports, presentations, and analytics on key performance metrics including headcount, turnover, compensation, recruiting efforts, etc. Participates in HR technology initiatives by assisting with assessing business needs, process review, project management, testing, training, and procedure documentation. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices. Makes recommendations for improvements to the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, motivate and retain employees, address staffing issues, and maintain legal compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 4+ years of relevant experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail, and thoroughness in completing assignments Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, charts, formulas, etc.) and PowerPoint Demonstrated problem-solving ability Self-starter with strong organizational skills Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and priorities in work tasks Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships Must be able to work 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime, as needed Experience with job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, and/or equal opportunity compliance Experience using Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint and iCIMS Applicant Tracking System Strong working knowledge of HR business processes Pape-Dawson Engineers is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
