Salary $20.75 - 24.05 hourly
260 days, 40 Hours Weekly, with potential increase in the future if needed Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrative Assistant to
join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources
Director and assist in various HR tasks and projects. The HR Administrative Assistant will play a
crucial role in maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, coordinating
employee onboarding and off boarding, and providing assistance with HR policies and
procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to
detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Responsibilities
? Maintain and update employee records and files in HR online system (Skyward) as well
as hard copies
? Assist in coordinating the recruitment and hiring process, including scheduling
interviews and conducting background checks
? Be able to assist in managing and responding to benefit inquiries
? Coordinate employee onboarding and off boarding processes, including preparing new
hire paperwork and assist in conducting exit interviews
? Assist in managing and updating HR policies and procedures
? Provide assistance with HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives,
performance management, and training programs
? Prepare HR reports and presentations for management as needed
? Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and
procedures
? Assist with maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations
? Processing and supporting workman's compensation claims
? Understand and manages FMLA and support staff with requests
? Assist with CDE reports as required
? Support the Director of Human Resources as needed with clerical duties as requested
? All other duties as assigned
Preferred Requirements and Skills
? 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role
? Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook)
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Excellent organizational and time management abilities
? High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
? Basic knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
? Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
