The Opportunity: We are looking for a mid-level Human Resources and Accounting Admin to perform a variety of tasks relating to our human resources and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR documentation, assisting with accounting responsibilities, and preparing financial reports and other special projects as required.
Job Responsibilities: Managing HR records, including ensuring all employee files are up-to-date and entering all new hires
Assisting with closing the books monthly
401k admin responsibilities
Assisting with Accounts Payable
Invoicing and following up with invoices sent out to clients
Provide clerical support to executive office
Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related work experience.
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices, as well as understanding financial regulations and procedures.
Strong numerical skills and an ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics.
Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience in a tech industry or start-up environment.
Knowledge of employment legislation, particularly regarding the tech industry.
