HR Generalist

Job Overview
The position will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientations and on-boarding, employee termination process, interfacing with payroll and benefits, and company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, the role will build strong relationships and allegiances with managers to assist with their human resource needs. The role will work closely with VP HR on strategic related projects in both the corporate entity and affiliated companies.
Key Responsibilities
-Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts for salaried staff positions for White Plains, NY office. Use internal sources and job boards.
-Create metrics, analytics and data as it relates to hiring (cost per hire, time to hire, sourcing channel, etc.)
-Develop and oversee new hire orientation, on-boarding and off-boarding processes, as well as 30-60-90 day check-ins to ensure employee satisfaction.
-Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and legal responsibilities.
-Assist with build-out of HRIS and develops reports and HR analytics.
-Special projects as assigned.
-Has Generalist knowledge of all HR facets.
-Manage and assist managers with performance review process.
-Collaborates with other HR team members.
-Suggest and coordinate employee activities, such as luncheons, contests, team building, training, etc.
-Continue branding initiatives, internally and externally.
Qualifications
-Four Year Degree or 2-5 Years Equivalent Experience
-SHRM or PHR certification a+
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
-Dynamic personality to work with multiple types of employees.
-Strong technical skills with HRIS experience (BambooHR a plus), as well as social media outlets.
-Ability to work independently.
Reports To
VP HR
Location: White Plains, N.Y.
Compensation: 80k-90k plus Bonus and all Benefits. 4 days in office.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 80,000.00 90,000.00 Per Year
