HRIS Analyst
(Onsite 5 days a week)
This Is What You'll Do:
Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Assess current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
Ensures system compliance with data security, data integrity, privacy requirements. policy requirements.
Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll).
Use leadership skills in carrying out projects. May provide overall ownership for a given HRIS initiative.
Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
Collaborates with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation.
Provides user training and hands-on support and recommends process/customer service improvements/solutions.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS support, providers, vendors, and technology.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This Is What It Takes:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Three to five years of HRIS experience. Systems implementation experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation.
Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with an HRIS such as Ultimate Software (UKG) or SAP SuccessFactors.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
