Are you an HR Specialist looking for a great new opportunity in the Nashville area?
We are hiring an Onboarding Specialist to work with our client, a global leader in medical equipment and devices.
In this role, you have the opportunity to own and execute all HR activities and communication about the onboarding of new employees. You will be collaborating with team members and other stakeholders in the business to ensure a successful and smooth transition for all employees.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Owns the accurate and timely onboarding process for new employees, which includes the creation of offer letters, registration of new employees in HRIS & payroll systems, and the end-to-end background check process
You will serve as the main point of contact for new hires, facilitate their set-up, introduce them to the company, and generally ensure that every aspect of their onboarding is smooth and successful.
Operates as the main point of contact for candidate communication for all Onboarding related items
Supports recruiters and other stakeholders by answering questions or escalating issues that may arise
Identifies process improvements and escalates issues to management and senior members of the team
Participates and supports team initiatives to drive continuous improvement efforts and lean projects
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent years of work experience
2+ years of experience in a relevant human resources function is preferred or a similar customer support-based role
Experience initiating background checks, drug screens, or generating offer letters is highly preferred
Basic knowledge of MS Office Experience (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Office, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of data integrity
