Job summary
HR Manager (Temp to Hire)Must have experience in a Call Center or manufacturing environment.Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel;• Ensures that all documents for on-boarded employees are completed accurately and are scanned and filed correctly.• Responds to all Employment Development Department/DETR claims.• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.• Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.• Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.• Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.• Manages recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel.• Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing. In-charge of employee engagement.• Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.• Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.• Management skills• Excellent grasp and knowledge of labor law.• Problem Solving/Analysis.• Project Management.• Communication Proficiency.• Ethical Conduct.• Time Management• Bilingual a plus - must have good grasp of the Spanish language• A bachelor's degree and three to five years' human resource experience desired. Combination of certification and years' call center experience will be considered.• Experience in a Call Center environment a must.• Certification: PHR or similar HR certification or similar experience will be accepted.
