In general, the core of this position requires a motivated team builder and organization developer.ResponsibilitiesThis role focuses on document management and leave administration. You'll be responsible for various tasks, including:Manage HR documents and maintain organized and efficient filing and databases.Tracked and administered various employee leave types, ensuring proper usage and compliance.Providing knowledge of essential employee benefits to answer inquiries and guide associates.Contributing to employee engagement and recognition initiatives.Developing and contributing content for the monthly employee newsletter.Providing general HR support, including assisting with employee relations and inquiries.Conducting new hire orientations, including processing I-9 forms.Utilizing HRIS systems for data entry and record management.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.To Thrive in this role, you should possess:Organized:You excel at maintaining efficient filing systems and databases.Communicate effectively:You can clearly and concisely convey information to employees of all levels.Self-starter and fast learner:You take initiative and quickly adapt to new situations.Comfortable with change: Embraces new challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment.Team player:You can build rapport and collaborate effectively with colleagues.Startup experience:You have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced startup environment (a plus).SHRM-CP or PHR certification (strongly preferred)CompensationHourly Range: $21 - $25 an hourThe compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.Hybrid RequirementThis hybrid position requires you to work from our Indianapolis, IN, home office 3 days a week starting June 1, 2024. You will be seated at a desk in our office space. We have chosen this setup to encourage collaboration and communication among team members.
