We are THE HR Department for a wide variety of small business clients in a wider variety of industries.We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support our Outsourced HR and Payroll Services for multiple small business clients.Our goal is to ensure that all Human Resources operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the companies we serve. Our clients typically have fewer than 30 employees, and we serve the entire U.S. This position reports to our Director of People Operations.What We Offer:An opportunity to learn and grow in a conscious cultureAn engaged team that has a lot of fun while serving our clientsFlexible schedules and unlimited PTORemote work (we provide your computer equipment)Medical, Dental, Vision, and other wellness-related benefitsBasic Life InsuranceLong and Short-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program401(k) with a matchSalary starting at $45,000 per yearWhat You Will Do:Support People Operations with onboarding new clients, gathering all necessary information to properly engageCreate and format employee handbooks based on client locations, industries, and special requestsReview, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments for clientsAdminister HR programs, including benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance management, and training and development.Conduct salary surveys as neededTrack employee calendars for multiple clients for benefits eligibilityConduct reconciliations for employee benefits invoicesWork with authorities (Departments of Labor, Workforce Commissions, Workers' Compensation) on unemployment claims, audits, or other requestsSupport payroll as needed: process and enter timesheet data, update payroll records with salary or wage adjustments and answer employee questions about payments.QualificationsWho You Are:You are passionate about people and have a great sense of humorYou rely on your excellent organizational skills, superior attention to detail, and outstanding analytical and numerical skillsYou handle sensitive information confidentially and professionallyYou are comfortable processing payroll and want to grow your career in HR and People OperationsWhat We Look For:2+ years of Human Resources, payroll processing, and benefits administration experienceA desire to grow in the HR fieldAn analytical mind with good math skills and excellent attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsAn ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong computer skills with hands-on experience with M365, especially MS Teams in an office environmentAdditional InformationWe are an equal-opportunity employer and referral source.
