Responsibilities
• Understands the overall market and knows how to sell against competitors• Targets group accounts, markets, or segments with proactive solicitation• Identifies and solicits new accounts to increase business• Develops and implements an effective sales plan• Executes sales strategies to achieve revenue goals• Builds successful relationships with key stakeholders• Manages relationships with existing and new customers• Utilizes sales resources effectively• Participates in site inspections• Creates contracts as required
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of sales and marketing experience• OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of sales and marketing experience• Understanding of markets, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and economic trends• Negotiating skills and creative selling abilities• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships• Proficiency in using sales and customer data• Familiarity with brand standards and customer service standards
