Responsibilities
• Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups• Manage accounts• Conduct site inspections• Solicit and generate business• Prepare and present effective proposals• Maintain well-organized documentation and reports• Utilize Hyatt systems• Coordinate customer service requirements• Participate and may lead event meetings• Work as a team member with sales and catering staff
Requirements
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment• Refined verbal and written communication skills• 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience• Proficient in general computer knowledge• Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent• Selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training
