Responsibilities
• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.• Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio).• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.• Communicate each day's activities and problems to other shifts.• Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in categories like air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor repairs, and clean-up.• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical components, etc.• Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and inventory duties.• Perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers.• Display basic computer skills and follow safety and security policies.
Requirements
• Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.• Ability to move up and down stairs, ramps, and ladders.• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.• Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers.• Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.• Positive attitude and willingness to support team goals.• Basic computer skills and knowledge in maintenance categories.• Ability to follow safety and security policies.• Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
