Housing Specialist

Job Location: This position will be located at 1706 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65102
The Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a new Housing Initiatives Specialist. This position will be domiciled at Central Office.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide training and technical assistance to providers across the state Engage Housing Liaisons in their local Continuum of Care and case conferencing efforts Monitor grant performance Plan, manage, and utilize federal and state grant funding Review monthly invoices All other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Knowledgeable of community behavioral health programs/services Grant management and review processes Complex case problem-solving Facilitation of virtual and in-person trainings Excellent written and verbal communication Grammar, spelling, punctuation and technical writing skills Data analysis and collection Required Qualifications: 1-3 years of professional experience in grant management/compliance, case management, training or technical assistance Experience in Behavioral Health case management, homelessness case management or other closely related areas Bachelor's degree with specialization in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration or other closely related areas Additional years of general qualifying experience may substitute for education requirement.
