KNOW HOW/REQUIREMENTS: Excellent customer service and verbal skillsConsistent positive attitudeAbility to work with all age groups and ability levelsAbility to conduct activities related to fitnessModel the YMCA Core valuesPrefer fitness and/or athletic training experienceCPR Certification course (30 days post hire)High School Diploma/Minimum of 18 years of ageESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Nightly cleaning of the membership areas of the YMCALight maintenanceRelationship building with both members and staffCompletes required abuse risk management training.Monitors building, staff and members and reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations to supervisor. Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements to authorities.Move furniture and room/meeting set upComplete all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and equipment with minimal supervision.Perform general building maintenance duties which may include, but are not limited to, carpentry projects, changing filters, light bulbs, and ballasts, clearing plumbing clogs, repairing leaking faucets.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Noise level- ModerateSTATUS: Part time, Non-Exempt
