Responsibilities
• Responsible for deep cleaning tasks of all assigned rooms per hotel brand standards.• Deep clean perimeter surfaces throughout guest rooms and public areas.• Removal, deep cleaning, and replacement of all furniture, room amenities, and upholstery.• Inspection and deep cleaning of bed area.• Inspection and deep clean of kitchenette, coffee station, and amenity hub.• Thorough deep cleaning of bathroom in entirety.• Ensure that the standard room set-up is in place, including amenities.• Refers guest complaints concerning housekeeping service to Lead Housekeeper.• Notifies Lead Housekeeper of any needed repairs.• Assist team members and guests to provide memorable experiences and pleasant stays.
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.• Should have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and general cleaning techniques.• At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.• Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds.• Must be able to move, slide, or lift furniture such as desks, chairs, and headboards.• Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, and pushing.• Must be able to work with cleaning products and solvents regularly.
