Job Summary:A premier hotel is seeking a full-time Front Desk Associate at our location in Princeton, West Virginia. This individual contributor role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in/out process, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.Compensation & Benefits:There are multiple positions open for full-time and part-time that offer competitive compensation. Opportunity for career growth within the company.Responsibilities:Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome and making them feel valued and importantCheck-in/out guests, process payments, and issue and activate room keysRespond to guest inquiries and complaints with tact and empathy, finding solutions to ensure guest satisfactionCommunicate effectively with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptlyMaintain accurate and organized guest records, including payment and reservation informationAnswer phone calls and make reservations, providing accurate information about room availability, amenities, and pricingCollaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are cleaned and prepared for guest arrivalsMonitor and maintain the appearance of the lobby and front desk area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all timesAssist with the preparation and distribution of daily reports, including room occupancy and revenueFollow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocolsPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferredPrevious experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industryKnowledge of hotel management software and reservation systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesAbility to multitask and handle a high volume of guest inquiries and requestsStrong attention to detail and organization skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suiteMust be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsEEOC Statement:VP Management is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
