Position Description

As a Hospitality Associate, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

Understand and comply with Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS), safety rules, and company policies.
Execute and learn the current Point Of Sales (POS) program.
Perform necessary tasks, including checking stock, rotating items, completing product sales, maintaining presentation, and aiding the customer journey.
Assist with food packaging and light kitchen prep work, as needed.
Ensure clean and efficient work areas.
Conduct station and kitchen breakdown.
Sustain store cleanliness with attention to opening and closing checklists.
Label and store food by procedures for end-of-shift.
Read, support the production of, and execute the daily catering schedule.
Exhibit proper sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices per the California health code.
Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes: High school diploma or equivalent.
Food handler's certification.
Read and comprehend instructions and correspondence, including recipes, order sheets, and schedules.
Outstanding interpersonal capabilities, exuding professionalism, warmth, and approachability.
Enthusiastic team-based work ethic with a customer-focused, service-oriented mindset.
Working knowledge of sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices per the health code.
Adaptable and remains calm under pressure.
Exhibit exemplary customer service techniques with strong communication skills.
Skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and working under strict deadlines.
Possess basic knife and food displaying skills and an awareness of various cuisines and ingredients.
Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred: Minimum two years of experience working in a restaurant, catering, or a hotel setting.
Minimum two years of proven cashier and front-of-house experience.
