Hospital Manager

Hidden Hills Animal Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a hospital manager to join our practice. Our small animal practice treats Avian, Canine, Feline, Other Exotics and, Pocket Pets. If you have an interest in exotics, we offer mentorship opportunities as well! We are a tight knit group that has three doctors and a long tenured support staff. Our inviting facility offers  digital radiology, ultrasound,   orthopedic surgery, and  laser surgery . We currently support B.A.R.C, Fur Babies Rescue and a few other non-profit organizations in the area. As the  Veterinary Hospital Manager , you play an integral role in leading the hospital team and providing excellent care to our pet patients and clients. Our team members hold the highest regard for maintaining a healthy, safe, and cohesive work environment. As the Hospital Manager, you lead by example to ensure its success and manage all aspects of operations and people management within our fast-paced, veterinary hospital. The primary duties center around business/P&L management, HR functions, and instituting/maintaining compliance with policies and procedures that ensure safe and efficient practices within the hospital environment. 
Qualifications Experience in a management/leadership role is preferred. Experience in veterinary medicine is required. Have empathy and respect towards pets, clients and colleagues Able to review, understand and react to findings in financial reports, budgets, and Profit & Loss statements Have excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills Exercise strong time management skills, being able to plan, organize and prioritize tasks Possess a good attitude and contribute to building and fostering a positive work environment Have strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy Maintain a constructive and harmonious relationship with co-workers, client and vendors.
