JOB SUMMARY:
As a Hospice Aide you will perform personal care activities related to the activities of daily living, under direction of a Case Manager [RN].
Hospice Aide Qualifications:
Must have reliable vehicle. 12 months of caregiving experience required (home care, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing/nursing home, hospital or hospice), Hospice experience preferred Excellent customer service skills Current CPR Certified Valid driver's license and auto insurance Hospice Aide Responsibilities: (including but not limited to):
Personal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, etc) Review patient care plan Lifting and transferring Assistance with range of motion & positioning, exercise & ambulation Assistance with dining & nutrition Electronic charting In addition:
Needs strong understanding of professional boundaries Must be able to lift 50 lbs Good understanding of body mechanics Strong communication skills-written, verbal, listening with attention Good problem solving skills Good time management of self and others Able to function in an electronic medical record Moments Hospice Offers:
