Seeking line and prep cooks $20/hr plus tips
With existing locations in Tacoma, Spokane and Chattanooga the team from Wooden City is thrilled to announce the opening of our first Seattle location in the the city's Green Lake neighborhood. Currently we are hiring line and prep cooks.

Team members should be very personable, passionate about food, drink, and hospitality, highly self motivated, flexible, and excited to work in a busy restaurant with high standards.
BOH team member responsibilities include but are not limited to...
- Preparing excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests in a timely manner.
- Maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Knowledge of and consistent compliance with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Preventing the spoiling and contamination of foods by implementing proper sanitation practices while ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations.
- Maintaining a clean work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saut burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Assist in the daily cleaning of the pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in and prep area.
- Following departmental policies as well as restaurant rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook and by management.
- Ability to work and maintain multiple stations within the kitchen.
- Weekend availability required for this position.
