About the Role:
We're currently seeking a talented Higher Education Sales Strategist to join our team. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in educational sales to drive renewals, upsells, and innovative strategies within our Higher Education customer base. Working closely with strategic accounts, you'll ensure a seamless renewal process, identify growth opportunities, and execute sales initiatives to enhance performance across the board.
As part of our collaborative team, you'll play a key role in shaping the renewals function, defining responsibilities, and refining processes. Success in this position hinges on your ability to effectively communicate the value of our platform, cultivate strong client relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and manage a portfolio of accounts to minimize churn. We're looking for someone who not only understands the intricacies of the higher education sector but also thrives on strategic problem-solving and client engagement.
What You'll Achieve:
Within 3 Months:
Manage renewals and upsells for a portfolio of customers, collaborating with Customer Success and Sales teams.
Gain insights into leveraging our platform to address diverse business needs.
Meet and exceed renewal and upsell quotas on a quarterly basis.
Analyze usage metrics to optimize customer experience and product adoption.
Within 6 Months:
Develop a comprehensive success plan to drive organizational adoption and expansion.
Share best practices with clients to maximize subscription value.
Collaborate with product management to address customer needs and enhance solutions.
Initiate outbound techniques to expand our impact across institutions.
Within 12 Months:
Implement process improvements to scale operations effectively.
Lead strategic initiatives to enhance overall performance within the Higher Education segment.
Prioritize accounts with the highest growth potential and drive portfolio success.
Contribute to the professional development of team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
3+ years of account management or sales experience in a technology-driven environment.
Proven track record in developing strategies for technology adoption within Higher Education (experience in Student Affairs preferred).
Familiarity with Higher Education operations and dynamics.
Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
Proficiency in CRM and Customer Success platforms.
Confident in delivering informative and compelling virtual demonstrations.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, with a variable component of $20,000 - $40,000.
