The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) Director is responsible for implementing federal grant-funded programs.The Director plans and implements program initiatives, resources, goals, and protocols.The HEP Director aims to provide students with a migrant or seasonal farmworker background increased access to a HSE.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the development, implementation, and execution of the HEP program and special projects.• Develop and carry out strategies to ensure student matriculation to postsecondary enrollment, training programs, employment opportunities, or the military.• Administer and oversee the program budget and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.• Establish and maintain relationships with school district officials, community leaders, and organizations to encourage participation.• Prepare reports to the U.S. Department of Education and stay updated on new trends in migrant education.• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and technology that may affect program operations and make necessary policy changes.• Provide oversight of project staff and implement evaluation processes for faculty and staff.• Collaborate with project staff, faculty, and external evaluator to improve program effectiveness.• Provide HSE instruction if necessary.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field.• Three years of leadership experience with education projects or grant management at a college or high school level.• Experience working with low income, first-generation, under-represented, and/or migrant and seasonal farmworkers.• Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, Adult Education, or related field (preferred).• One year of leadership experience with education projects or grant management at a college or university (preferred).• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).• Grant administration and budget experience (preferred).• Experience working in a higher education environment (preferred).• Prior experience with High School Equivalency Program (HEP), Adult Education, and/or CAMP (preferred).
