As the Helpdesk Systems Analyst, you'll be analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems. What you'll do as the Helpdesk Systems Analyst: Analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs Review computer system capabilities and workflow Study existing information processing systems to evaluate their effectiveness Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by equipment, computer programs, and operations Conduct studies about the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development Review project requests describing database user needs Review procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to the database What you'll bring to the Helpdesk Systems Analyst role: Four-year degree in accounting and/or a computer-related field is preferred (a related post-secondary degree may be considered)0–5 years of experience working in ERP systems Candidates with firsthand experience in the Granite or Bronze Industries may be given further consideration even if they do not meet the education or experience requirements Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to adapt and understand business Take the first step on your new career path!
