Learn more about Ledcor here.Hear more from our Mining team here.Essential Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment on a surface mine siteSafely service heavy equipment as required and directedComplete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling repairsOperate fuel/service truck safely and efficientlyAssist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other suppliesCoordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team membersSupport Mechanics with repairsCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team membersBe a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and proceduresQualifications:Minimum one-year experience of heavy equipment maintenance is requiredKnowledge of parts and servicing of Cat, Hitachi & Komatsu equipmentMust have valid photo identificationMSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificates if neededSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol capability testingWork Conditions:Rotation of 5/4, 12-hour day shifts; night shifts are requiredAbility to work overtime if requiredEmployee benefits package and 401k plan participation offered after 60 days of continuous employmentAdditional Information:Company DescriptionLedcor Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
